The city of Toronto posts data about all sorts of things here. I wanted to play around with this so I picked a data set that interested me (this one). The shelters of Toronto post how many people were counted at their locations the previous night. This data is uploaded as a csv and a JSON every morning at 4am. I built an express app that runs at 12pm daily to pull the nights' data, this is then stored in a mongoDB instance that I'm running on Mongo's Atlas service. I present all this data via a React front end.
